The Orissa High Court has rejected the plea of lifer Sandeep Acharya alias Raja challenging his solitary confinement in prison as it would not interfere in the jail administration.

A division bench of justices L Mohapatra and C R Dash, which had reserved its verdict yesterday, stated that the court would not interfere in the administrative work of jails and accordingly turned down the plea of Raja, convicted for murdering a judo coach in April 2008
