Giving relief to Sikkim High Court Chief Justice P.D. Dinakaran, the Supreme Court on Friday stayed the impeachment proceedings against him.

The apex court issued notices to Rajya Sabha Chairman Hamid Ansari and advocate P.P. Rao. Justice Dinakaran had alleged bias by Rao — one of the members of the impeachment committee — since he was one of the complainants against him.

They have been asked to file their replies in two weeks. The matter would now be taken up by a vacation bench.

Now that the highest and apex Court in India has granted stay on the impeechment proceedings, it may as well take up this case on top priority basis and decide the case in favour of Shri Shri Shri Dinakaranji for his excellent and impartial judgements he passed as a Judge. I hope God is with him. Let us pray God that he will continue to enjoy life as he has been enjoying in this KALI YUG.
