The Supreme Court Thursday asked the government to report how its order banning the use of plastic pouches to pack chewing tobacco was being implemented.
A bench of Justice G.S. Singhvi and Justice H.L. Dattu decided to pass further orders if its earlier order of Dec 7, 2010 was not been complied with in its entirety. The ban was imposed March 2011.
