A 20-year-old youth was today sentenced to 10 years imprisonment by a fast track court for gangraping a 13-year-old girl over six years ago.
Tejpal was convicted by fast track court judge, Punam Rajput, who also imposed a fine of Rs 27000 on him.
The victim was gangraped by four youths in March, 2010, after she went missing from the Mansha Devi Mela where she had gone with her family.
The victims mother had registered an FIR against four, after her daughter was dumped outside the house in Ratengiri village here.
While three other accused were juveniles, Manish was convicted after he was found guilty under relevant sections of IPC, government lawyer Ritu Choudhary said.
