Chanakya Law College, Rudrapur is a pioneer Institution of Kumaum region to introduce five years integrated B.A.LLB. programme.
The college is formed under the aegis of the Chanakya Society of Legal studies, a non profit making educational society, established in the year 2001.It was basically the outcome of timeless efforts off the top most luminaries and reputed citizens who solely believe in serving the society by way of creating knowledge centers in the field of law.
Chanakya law College was established in the year 2004 to import education in the field of law, approved by the Bar Council of India and affiliated to kumaun University ,Nainital.
The Chanakya Society of Legal studies was founded on 11th January 2001, as a result of the pioneering efforts of several legal luminaries. The objective of Chanakya Society of Legal Studies is to provide facilities for the study of Law and Management on a scientific basis.
The Chankya Law College was established in 2004. The Chankya Law College, imparts education for the Five – Year Law Course after 10+2. Chankya Law College is also one of the first colleges to start legal education in its true sense in this Kumaun region in Uttrakhand. The college tries to impart fine and sound legal knowledge It is affiliated to Kumaun University, Nainital, Uttarakhand. The college is approved by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi. The college is open to all irrespective of sex, age, caste, creed and religion. Faculty and students are drawn from all over India.
