The College of Law and Legal Studies, an on-campus college of the University, offers multifaceted legal educational programs that include: B.A.-LL.B. (Hons.), B.B.A.-LL.B.(Hons.), B.Com.-LL.B.(Hons.) and Ph.D. The college has gathered momentum to provide opportunity to young women and men who aspire to pursue law as their career. It encompasses a multi-facility system that includes a Learning Resource Center, well stocked library, e-library, excellent class rooms, common rooms, moot court, Legal Aid Clinic and a Social Consultancy Center.
The college is evolving as a brand in legal education with a proven career based approach that delivers client focused lawyers ready to meet the challenges ahead. The students are inspired to imbibe high ethical and moral standards while discharging their professional responsibilities. The college emphasizes on learning through application, practice and selection by providing opportunities where students study law through practical exposure. The internship programme of College of Law & Legal Studies is comprehensive which covers the entire gamut from civil practices to social action, from social action to corporate advocacy as well as from traditional dispute resolution mechanism to the modern alternative dispute resolution system.
