School of Law and Humanities (VSLH) is situated in the North West Himalayas at a height of about 1600 meters, the Vitasta School of Law and Humanities in Srinagar is at a distance of about five kilometers from Srinagar airport. It is situated in a beautifully landscaped campus of around seven acres. Vitasta School of Law and Humanities was established in the year 2010. It is considered to be amongst the best law institutions in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Vitasta School of Law and Humanities is approved by Bar Council of India and affiliated to NAAC accredited A Grade University, The University of Kashmir. Getting admission in VSLH is considered to be highly prestigious for law aspirants therefore the competition is also quite tough
The name of the VSLH ‘Vitasta’ is the old Sanskrit name of the Jhelum River that flows throughout the length of the Kashmir valley and through heart of Srinagar city. The name signifies a continuous flow of knowledge over the centuries. It stands for both continuity and rejuvenation. This is the spirit with which the Vitasta School has been established.
