                     WP(C) No.28097 of 2009
           Dated,-------------------------- 2009
this the 2nd day of November,
              ------------------------------

                          J U D G M E N T

The petitioner is a retired employee of the Housing Board.

His grievance is that his terminal benefits have not been released.

The reason apparently is the pendency of the proceedings initiated

against the petitioner under Rule 59(b) of Part – III KSR. Ext.P3 is a

notice issued, and on its receipt, the petitioner has filed Ext.P4

explanation. According to the petitioner, the proceedings have not

been finalised. This apparently is the reason for not releasing full

terminal benefits to the petitioner.

2. Therefore, I dispose of this writ petition directing the

respondents to finalise the proceedings initiated by Ext.P3, taking

into account Ext.P4. This shall be done with notice to the petitioner

as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within eight weeks of

production of a copy of this judgment.

3. Once the proceedings are finalised, consequential orders

releasing the terminal benefits to the petitioner shall be passed

without any further delay in the matter.

The petitioner shall produce a copy of this judgment before

the 1st respondent for compliance.

This writ petition is disposed of as above.
