We have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned standing counsel
appearing for respondents.

Against the cancellation order of fair price shop the petitioner’s appeal is
pending before the Commissioner but his stay application has been rejected.

This petition is disposed of with a direction to the Commissioner to decide the
appeal of the petitioner on merits by a reasoned and speaking order within a
period of six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced
before him.
