Background
1. The Applicant filed an RTI application dt.11.9.08 with the PIO, WR, Bhavnagar Para
requesting for copies of 6 letters/office orders. The PIO replied on 3.10.08 furnishing
point wise information. The Applicant filed an appeal dt.11.11.08 with the Appellate
Authority stating that information against point 1 and 6 (copies of letters) have not
been received till date from Sr.Sports Officer WRSA/Churchgate. Shri Kundan Kumar,
Appellate Authority in his reply dt.17.11.08 while enclosing the letter sought against
point 1 of the RTI application added that letter sought against point 6 is not traceable.
Being aggrieved with the reply, the Applicant filed a second appeal dt.22.11.08 before
CIC reiterating his request for information against point 6 of the RTI application.
2. The Bench of Mrs. Annapurna Dixit, Information Commissioner, scheduled the hearing
for January 5, 2010.
3. Shri H.M.Parmar, PIO & DPO and Shri Chetan Joshi represented the Public Authority.
4. The Appellant was present during the hearing.
Decision
5. The Respondents submitted that after much effort they were able to locate the letter
sought against point 6 of the RTI application and handed over the same to the
Appellant during the hearing. The Appellant was satisfied.
6. The Commission holds that complete information has been provided and accordingly
closes the case.
