Facts
It appears that certain Income Tax recoveries are to be effected from the
complainant. It in this connection that he had sought information on 19 points from
the CPIO vide his letter dated 8.12.2008.
2. The Department had responded to him vide their letters dated 4.12.2008 &
29.12.2008. Meanwhile, the complainant had filed the present complaint before this
Commission.
3. The matter was heard on 19.2.2009. The appellant did not appear before the
Commission and sent a fax massage on 17.2.2009 mentioning therein that in view of
the assurance given by Addl. CIT, he wants to withdraw the complaint.
DECISION
4. As the complainant does not wish to pursue the matter, the complaint is
ordered to be closed.
