                                                         ORDER

  Sh.   Vinod   Kumar,   the   Appellant,   through     application   dated   23.02.2010,   sought 

information under the RTI Act, relating to a PCR Call.   The PIO, vide letter dated 23.03.2010, 

informed the Appellant that he could collect certified copies of the sought for information after 

depositing   the requisite fees  as per the RTI  Act. Not satisfied with the reply of the PIO  the 

Appellant filed an appeal before the First Appellate Authority (FAA).   The FAA, vide decision 

dated   22.04.2010,   provided   further   information   and   also   requested   the   Appellant   to   get   the 

requisite information, after depositing fees of Rs. 2 per page.   However, not satisfied with the 

replies of the Respondent, the Appellant has filed the present appeal before the Commission.

During the hearing the Appellant submit that he has not been furnished certified  and 

legible / readable copies of the documents.  On the  other hand, the Respondent submit that, as per 

the record, complete requisite information has been furnished to the Appellant.

After   hearing   the   Respondent   and   on   perusal   of   the   relevant   documents   on   file,   the 

Commission finds that the complete requisite information has been furnished to the Appellant. 
However, keeping in view that request to the Appellant to provide certified and legible copies of 

the documents, the PIO is 

hereby directed to provide free of cost, certified and legible / readable copies of the document to 

the Appellant, within 15 days of receipt of the Commission’s order.

With these directions the matter is disposed of on the part of the Commission.
