                                                   ORDER

Shri   Sunil   Agarwal,   the   Appellant,   vide   his   application   dated   22.3.2010 
sought information under the RTI Act, regarding the name, contact No. of police 
officers   appointed   in   beat   of   Pocket   3   to   7,   sector­2,   the   number   of   cases 
registered  and  pending  in  the  last  6   months    in  sector  2  &  3   regarding  chain 
snatching, vehicle thefts etc.  Point­wise reply to the Appellant has been provided 
by the Respondent CPIO.   The FAA, Dy. Commissioner of Police, Outer District, 
Delhi has also held that requisite point­wise information has been provided to the 
Appellant   in   view   of   his   RTI   application.     In   his   2nd  appeal   filed   before   the 
Commission the Appellant pleads that he is not satisfied with the reply provided to 
him.   He pleads that he be provided correct and complete information and the 
Respondent be directed to register the pending FIR.

After hearing the Respondent and on perusal of relevant documents on file 
the Commission is of the view that requisite information available on record and 
permissible under RTI Act has been provided to the Appellant.  The grievance of 
the Appellant seems to be that police do not lodge FIRs on complaints regarding 
chain snatching and other incidents.  He also contests the contention of the police 
that the beat constables are on patrol duty during the night etc.   These are the 
grievances of the Appellant which cannot be addressed under the RTI Act, 2005; 
He   may   approach   the   competent   authority   in   this   regard   with   a   proper 
representation.

With the aforementioned observations the matter is disposed of on the part 
of the Commission.
