                                     JUDGMENT

One of the prayers in the writ petition is to direct the third

respondent to take a final decision on Ext.P4 appeal dated 16.3.2007

forthwith within a time limit.

2. Today when the matter came up, learned Government

Pleader on instructions submits that the third respondent has transferred the

appeal to the Deputy Commissioner of Appeals, Palakkad and the appeal is

posted for hearing on 24.10.2008 and that the appeal will be disposed of

within two months from 24.10.2008.

The writ petition is disposed of recording the above

submission.
