2. Both   the   parties   were   present   during   the   hearing.   We   heard   their 

submissions.

3. The  Appellant  had  wanted to  know the  basis  for  the  Supreme  Court 

passing a certain order in the SLP number 6214/2006. The CPIO informed him 

about the availability of this order in the website of the Supreme Court. He also

informed him that it was not his duty under the Right to Information (RTI) Act to 

interpret any law or judgement of the Supreme Court. The Appellate Authority 

had endorsed the decision of the CPIO.

4. The Appellant submitted that he was not satisfied with the order passed 

by the Supreme Court in a particular matter. Obviously, neither the CPIO nor 

the first Appellate Authority as well as the CIC can do very little in this matter. If 

there   is   any   other   remedy,   he   will   have   to   find   that   out   from   any   legal 

consultant. As far as his request under the Right to Information (RTI) Act is 

concerned, it has been rightly disposed of between the CPIO and the Appellate 

Authority. We have no reasons to interfere with their decisions.

5. The appeal is disposed off accordingly.
