The prayer for bail of the appellant was considered

on receipt of the lower court records. Earlier the prayer for bail

of the appellant was not pressed and as such was dismissed.

On hearing learned counsel for the appellant,

learned counsel for the informant as also learned A.P.P. for the

State and after considering the evidence that the appellant is

alleged to have committed rape upon a six-year-old child which

gets due corroboration from the evidence of P.W. 7, the Court is

not inclined to direct the release of the appellant on bail.

This interlocutory application is dismissed.
