       Heard the counsel for   the appellant.    It is agreed that the amount  of


compensation   awarded   by   the   Tribunal   is   modified   to   Rs.50,000/-   (Rupees


Fifty thousand only) instead of Rs.35,900/- (Rupees Thirty five thousand and


nine hundred only)  and the interest payable is reduced to 7% instead of 9%


as fixed by the Tribunal.   The amount due will be paid to the claimant, after


deducting the amount already paid, within sixty days.




       The appeal is disposed of as above.

A W A R D

Parties have settled the dispute and claimant/appellant is entitled to

get an additional amount of Rs.18,000/- (Rupees Eighteen thousand only)

more as compensation. The amount will be deposited for payment within

sixty days from the date of receipt of a copy of this award, failing which the

amount will carry interest at the rate of 9% per annum from the date of default

till payment. On such deposit, the amount will be released to the claimant.

The appeal is disposed of as above.
