The main prayer in the writ petition is for a direction to the second

respondent promote the petitioner as Tutor MLT with effect from

02/05/2001. In answer to the representation submitted by the petitioner, the

Government as per Ext.P4 directed the Director of Medical Education to

review the select list for the post of Tutor in MLT for the year 2001 by

giving assignment to the petitioner for the post of Tutor in MLT with effect

from the date of occurrence of third vacancy of Tutor in MLT in 2001, i.e.

from 03/05/2001.

2. Aggrieved by the delay in convening the review D.P.C, the

petitioner filed Ext.P5 representation dated 01/08/2009 before the second

respondent. Since no action is forthwith coming in the matter, he has filed

this writ petition seeking various reliefs. Learned Government Pleader on

instructions from the second respondent submits that the meeting of the

D.P.C will be convened within two months and after obtaining the

concurrence of the P.S.C. The same is recorded. The second respondent

will see that the time limit provided as above is complied with.
