The petitioner is a foreigner. He is facing deportation. His

application for continued stay in the country has been rejected. The

petitioner has now filed Ext. P7 before the 1st respondent. The

petitioner seeks a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass

orders on Ext. P7.

2. I have heard the learned Assistant Solicitor General also.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, I dispose of this writ

petition with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass

orders on Ext. P7 as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within

three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. In

the meantime, respondents 2 and 3 shall constantly monitor the

movements of the petitioner. The petitioner shall report to the 3rd

respondent once in two weeks. It would be open to respondents 2 and

3 to arrest and detain the petitioner, if he is involved in any suspicious

movements. It would be open to the petitioner to produce any

material in support of the petitioner’s case before the 1st respondent.
