ORAL
ORDER

By
way of present petition, the petitioners have inter alia prayed for
directing the respondents to implement the Government Resolutions
dated 27th September 1993, 22nd July 1994 and
10th November 1995 strictly.

It
is pertinent to note that in the affidavit-in-reply filed on behalf
of the respondent No.3, it has been categorically stated that all
the circulars as prayed for by the petitioners have been implemented
and given effect. So far as the respondent No.3 is concerned, the
orders were passed on 10th December 1997. It is further
stated in the said affidavit-in-reply that the option which was
granted was considered and the order was passed accordingly and the
said order dated 10th December 1997 is passed in
compliance of the Government Resolution.

Further,
in the affidavit-in-reply filed on behalf of the respondent No.4, it
has been specifically stated that the seniority list was fixed after
passing of the order dated 10th December 1997 by the
respondent No.3 and the seniority of the petitioners is fixed on the
basis of the Government Resolutions.

In
view of aforesaid, it clearly transpires that the grievance of the
petitioner is already redressed since their seniority is fixed by
implementing the Government Resolutions and, therefore, no further
orders are required to be passed. Hence, the present petition stands
disposed of accordingly. Rule is discharged to the aforesaid extent,
with no order as to costs.
