J U D G M E N T
Petitioner, who has completed his Engineering
Degree Course from a college affiliated to the Mahatma
Gandhi University, had written the Examination held in
May, 2008. Apparently, dissatisfied by the marks obtained
in one paper, he had applied for revaluation. He is
aggrieved that the result of the revaluation has not been
published so far.
2. I heard learned standing counsel for the
University also. There is no justification for the delay in
the publication of results of revaluation in respect of the
Examination held in May 2008.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of
directing the 1st respondent to publish the results of the
revaluation sought for by the petitioner in relation to the
VIII Semester (Final) Examination held in May, 2008, as
early as possible, at any rate, within a period of six weeks

from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment provided
the application for revaluation is in order and otherwise
correct.
