Grievance of the petitioner is that he has already been accorded fire arm licnece
and said fire arm licence is effective for whole of State of U.P. Petitioner submits that
in connection with his business activity, he has to visit outside the State of U.P., and
in this regard for extending the area of operation of his licence he has already moved
application before the District Magistrate, Ghazipur for forwarding the same before
the appropriate authority so that appropriate order be passed in accordance with law.
Consequently, in the fact of the present case, District Magistrate, Ghazipur is
directed to see and ensure that final decision is taken on the application so moved by
the petitioner for extending the area of operation of his licence after scrutinizing all
formalities, and the matter be referred to appropriate authority if everything is in
order, preferably within period of four months from the date of production of certified
copy of this order. Whatever devcision is taken, same be communicated to the
petitioner.
With these observations, writ petition is disposed of
