By means of the instant writ petition petitioners have prayed for
protection of their lives. Learned counsel for the petitioners
submits that petitioners are major and have married each other on
their own free will and now they are being harassed.
If the marriage of the petitioners is registered and if there is any
real grievance to the married couple against their parents or
relatives who are allegedly interfering with their conjugal rights
which goes to such extent that there is threat of their life, they may
approach the S.S.P. Muzaffer Nagar who shall take steps on the
application of the petitioners and pass appropriate order on their
application for the security and safety of the petitioners
immediately.
It is made clear that in the event any FIR has been lodged, it will
be open for the police authorities to proceed in accordance with
law.
With the aforesaid direction the writ petition is disposed of finally.
