Anil Kumar Singh And Others vs State Of U.P. And Others on 9 August, 2010
Court No. - 21

Case :- WRIT - C No. - 46804 of 2010

Petitioner :- Anil Kumar Singh And Others
Respondent :- State Of U.P. And Others
Petitioner Counsel :- Bishram Tiwari
Respondent Counsel :- C.S.C.,Sunita Agrawal

Hon'ble Arun Tandon,J.

Let respondent no.3 i.e. Registrar, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya University,
Gorakhpur file his personal affidavit categorically stating as to why students,
who have been admitted in a particular year to L.L.B. Three Years Degree
Course when the college had the necessary affiliation/recognition from the
Bar Council of India can be restrained from completing their three years
degree course on the plea that for the subsequent year, such
affiliation/recognition has not been granted by the Bar Council of India.

Prima facie, in the opinion of the Court, if the student is admitted to Three
Years Degree Course at a point of time, when the institution had necessary
affiliation/recognition from the Bar Council of India. Such students must be
permitted to complete their three years degree course and withholding of the
recognition/affiliation by the Bar Council of India for subsequent years will
only result in fresh students being not admitted from that year onwards, but
the career of the admitted students cannot be jeopardized.

Put up this matter on 16th August, 2010 as unlisted before appropriate Bench.

(Arun Tandon, J.)

Order Date :- 9.8.2010
