The petitioner who had appeared at the All India Senior School
Certificate Examination-2009 conducted by the Central Board of
Education (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Board’) filed this petition
as she was not satisfied with the marks awarded to her in
Chemistry and Physics Theory papers. The answer books have
been produced by Sri H.N.Pandey learned counsel appearing for
the respondent-Board.
The answer books indicate that the petitioner had actually been
awarded 29 marks in Chemistry Paper and 22 1/2 marks in Physics
Paper.
Sri H.N.Pandey learned counsel appearing for the respondent-
Board states that after moderation the marks have been increased
and the petitioner has been awarded 34 marks in Chemistry Paper
and 28 marks in Physics Paper.
The answer books have been seen. All the answers have been
marked and the total is correct. It is, therefore, not possible to grant
any relief to the petitioner.
The petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
