ORAL ORDER

Heard the learned advocates.

The petitioner is the daughter of one A.G.Leuwa,
a Senior Clerk in the State Government. The said Shri
A.G. Leuwa died in the year 1992. At that time, the
petitioner was a minor. On her attaining majority in the
year 1997, the petitioner applied for compassionate
appointment, which has been refused. Though it is not
stated in the petition, the learned advocate Mr.Dewal has
orally submitted that the mother of the petitioner is
serving as Senior Clerk in the Secretariat. He has,
however, submitted that the mother of the petitioner was
estranged from her husband, the father of the petitioner
and is living separate since the year 1985. He has
further submitted that the mother of the petitioner
resides separate and does not support the petitioner and
her younger sister. In support of his oral submission,
Mr.Dewal states that he shall file the affidavit of the
mother of the petitioner. He, therefore, seeks time.
S.O. to 29th November, 2002.
