        Petition under Article 226  of  the  Constitution  of  India  for  the
issuance  of  a  writ  of  habeas corpus to call for the records in B.D.F.G.I.
S.V.  No.3/2006 on the file of the first respondent, quash the detention order
dated 14.02.2006, direct the production of the detenu by name Ramesh,  son  of
Arugmugham, presently detained at the Central Prison, Chennai, under the Tamil
Nadu Act 14 of 1982, before Court and set him at liberty.

:ORDER  

(Order of the Court was made by P.SATHASIVAM, J.)

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor informs this Court that, by
Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.716, Prohibition & Excise (XI) Department, dated
10.04.2006, the detention order passed against the detenu by name Ramesh has
been revoked. He has also produced a copy of the Government Order.
Accordingly, no adjudication is required in this matter. Habeas Corpus
Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
