It has been brought on record by the learned counsel for the petitioners that
the final report has been submitted in this case.
After submission of final report, the cause of action for filing the writ petition
does not survive as there remains no requirement either of quashing the first
information report or of staying the arrest.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed as infructuous.
The interim order, if any, stands vacated.
