CORAM: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE
and
HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE JYOTI SARAN
ORAL ORDER
(Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE)
3. 25.3.2011. Feeling apprehensive, the petitioner, a
resident of Village Barbatta, P.S.-Sonepur, District-Saran
has filed this petition under Article 226 of the
Constitution in public interest.
According to the petitioner, the Saran district
is a disturbed area. The students are not able to take the
Board examination without apprehension of injury to
their life and person. The petitioner has, therefore,
prayed suitable arrangements for protection be made so
that the students may take Board examinations without
-2-
fear to their life and person.
The Board examinations commenced on 23rd
February 2011 and are over. No untoward incident has
been reported from any of the examination centers in
Saran district. The apprehension of unsocial elements
taking over the examinations has proved unwarranted.
In view of the passage of time, the cause of
action does not survive.
The petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
