                    W.P.(C)No.25757 of 2010 T
               -----------------------------------------------------
DATED THIS THE 16th DAY OF AUGUST, 2010

                                JUDGMENT

The petitioner retired from the service of the respondent-

Corporation on 30.11.2008. He is seeking for a direction to disburse

the DCRG and commuted value of pension forthwith. It is pointed out

that the marriage of the petitioner’s daughter is scheduled to be held

on 7.11.2010. Exhibit P1 is the copy of the marriage invitation letter

and Exhibit P2 is the receipt showing the booking of the marriage hall.

2. In Writ Appeal No.289/2001, this Court has framed various

guidelines and it was directed that benefit should be disbursed

according to seniority, unless otherwise ordered by this Court. Herein,

the petitioner has shown a genuine reason also.

3. Therefore, there will be a direction to the respondent to

disburse the DCRG and commuted value of pension to the petitioner as

expeditiously as possible, at any rate within a period of six weeks,

after conducting due enquiry.

The Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
