J U D G M E N T
The petitioner is a former employee of the Kerala State
Road Transport Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the `KSRTC’ for
short). He retired from service on 31.3.2010 while he was working as
Conductor in the KSRTC. This writ petition is filed seeking expeditious
payment of Terminal Leave Surrender Salary, on the ground that he
is in urgent need of funds to meet the expenses of medical treatment.
2. Sri.V.V.Nandagopal Nambiar, the learned standing
counsel appearing for the KSRTC, submits that the Corporation will
take steps to disburse the Terminal Leave Surrender Salary to the
petitioner expeditiously.
In such circumstances, I dispose of this writ petition with a
direction to the respondents to disburse the Terminal Leave Surrender
Salary to the petitioner expeditiously and in any event, within one
month from the date on which the petitioner produces a certified copy
of this judgment before the respondent Corporation.
