This is a petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking
pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioner under Sections
406, 498-A IPC at Police Station Mani Majra, Chandigarh, vide FIR
No.246 dated 4th July, 2009.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a settlement
has been arrived at between the parties and thus he may be allowed to
withdraw this petition at this stage. He, however, prays that in case, at
any stage, the petitioner is sought to be arrested, at least a week’s notice
be given to him in order to enable him to avail of his remedy.
Learned counsel for Union Territory submits that if at any
stage, the petitioner is required to be arrested, at least a week’s advance
notice shall be given to him.

In view of statement made by learned counsel for U.T., no
further orders are required to be passed.
Dismissed as withdrawn.
