This court had passed the order dated 5.12.06 directing the
respondents as under:
“This writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent
No.2, Principal Secretary, Human Resources Development
Department, Government of Jharkhand to consider the
petitioners’ representations and pass appropriate order in
accordance with law and the policy decision of the
Government within a period of two months from the date of
the receipt/production of a copy of the order.”
In the supplementary show-cause filed by the O.P.no.2, an
office order dated 5.4.2008 has been filed which is duly signed by
the Secretary to the Government namely Shri J.B.Tubid wherein
with regard to petitioner nos.1 and 2 it has been admitted that
decision has been taken by Jharkhand Public Service Commission to
recommend the name for promotion.
In the light of the above decision and order, this contempt
petition is disposed of.
However, the respondent no.2 is directed to implement its
own decision as indicated in the aforesaid Office order within a
period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy
of this order.
