Dated this the 23rd day of December, 2010

                            JUDGMENT

The petitioner was a former Arabic Teacher of the fourth

respondent’s School. When a vacancy of Peon arose in the

School, the petitioner laid a claim for that post under Rule 51A of

Chapter XIVA of the Kerala Education Rules. Disregarding that

claim, the fifth respondent was appointed. Against the same, the

petitioner approached the District Educational Officer, who

rejected the same by Ext.P5 order. The petitioner has filed

Ext.P6 revision against that order before the first respondent.

The petitioner seeks a direction to the first respondent to

consider and pass orders on Ext.P6 expeditiously.

2. I have heard the learned Government Pleader also.

Having heard both sides, I dispose of this writ petition with

a direction to the first respondent to consider and pass orders on

Ext.P6, after affording an opportunity of being heard to the

receipt of a copy of this judgment.
