                               JUDGMENT

Petitioner approached this court aggrieved by the delay in

disbursement of DCRG. Pursuant to interim order dated 17-8-2005

gratuity has been disbursed to the petitioner after withholding an

amount of Rs.20,575/-. In the statement filed on behalf of the first

respondent it is stated that the first respondent had already requested

the Government to drop the recovery proceedings initiated against the

officers including the petitioner. That statement is dated 1-8-2005.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that so far the amounts have not

been disbursed to the petitioner.

The writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to treat

that the recovery proceedings against the petitioner have been

dropped and with a further direction to disburse the withheld amount

of Rs.20,575/- with interest at the rate of 9% with effect from 1-1-

2006, within a period of two months from the date of production of a

copy of this judgment.
