2. 16.12.2010 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.

The prayer of the petitioner is that the Investigating

Officer of Supaul P.S. Case No.251/09, Police Station Supaul,

District-Supaul (respondent no.6) be directed to investigate the said

case properly registered for the offences under sections 304B/34 of

the Penal Code.

Learned counsel appearing for the State submits that the

said case is being properly investigated and the husband of the

deceased was also arrested and as such the allegation of the

petitioner that the case is not properly investigated is not correct.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, I am
-2-

not inclined to interfere with the matter. However, it will be open for

the petitioner to bring it to the notice of the Superintendent of

Police, Supaul (respondent no.2) for grievances, if any, with regard

to the inaction on the part of the Investigating Officer.

The writ application stands disposed of.
