J U D G M E N T
The petitioner was a candidate included in Ext.P1 rank list, for
appointment to the post of Binder Grade-II, in the Printing
Department, Kottayam District. The rank list expired on 20-1-2004.
This Court, by an interim order, directed to report seven vacancies of
Binder Grade-II, in a connected writ petition. Those vacancies were
reported, before the expiry of the rank list. The point to be decided is
whether any appointment could be made to those vacancies.
According to the third respondent, only three vacancies were actually
available as on the date of expiry of the rank list. The P.S.C. has
already advised candidates to those three vacancies, which arose
before the expiry of the rank list.
In view of the above submission, the Writ Petition is closed.
