4/ 14.03.2011 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted for the

offence under sections 302, 120-B/34 of the Indian Penal Code and

27 of the Arms Act.

Considering that even earlier the petitioner had

participated in an occurrence in attempt to kill the deceased and the

fact that the petitioner is named in the First Information Report as

also that he remained absconding since last eight years, I am not

inclined to grant bail to petitioner.

Prayer for bail is rejected.

The trial court is directed to expedite the trial in view

of the serious nature of the offence.
