This is a petition for police protection. An interim order of

police protection was passed on 5/2/07 and there was also a

direction to dispose of the appeal untramelled by the

observations in the interim order. The above interim order is

made absolute without prejudice to the right of the parties in the

appeal or other statutory authorities. District Labour Officer is

directed to dispose of the appeals as expeditiously as possible

with notice to both the aggrieved parties.

Writ petition is disposed of as above.
