JUDGMENT
BASHEER, J,
Petitioner’s wife, Mrs. Rani Subhash, who had been
allegedly missing since February 23, 2009 is present in court. The Sub
Inspector of Police, Kilikollor Police Station is also present.
2. Learned Government Pleader submits that the detenu
had appeared before the Judicial Magistrate of the First Class I, Kollam
on March 19, 2009. The learned Magistrate after recording the
statement allowed her to go with her husband.
3. We have interacted with the petitioner and the alleged
detenu. She stated before us that she had left the matrimonial home
because of severe mental stress and strain. She asserts that she was not
under illegal detention of any person. According to her, she would like
to go with her husband. The above submissions are recorded and the
writ petition is closed.
