Name of the Public Authority   : CPIO, Central Bank of India, Regional Office, Lanka, Varanasi. The Appellant was present in person. On behalf of the Respondent, the following were present:­ (i) Shri J.P. Singh, CPIO, (ii) Shri R.K. Pandey, (iii) Shri J.P. Srivastava, FAA   2. In this case, the Appellant had, in his application dated 25 April 2009,  requested the CPIO for some eight items of information regarding the hiring of  certain premises by the bank for running a branch. In his reply dated 22 June  2009, the CPIO provided some information while also denying some others. Not  satisfied with the reply of the CPIO, the Appellant preferred an appeal on 17  June 2009. The Appellate Authority disposed of the appeal in his order dated  17 July 2009 by endorsing the reply of the CPIO. Now, the Appellant has come  to the CIC in second appeal against this order.
