This is something to do with two women Members of this House who have already given a notice to move the privilege motion. They have written to me as Chairman of the Committee on Empowerment of Women, saying that they are being insulted in the course of their work in the district by the DM, who has told them that they are ignorant, they do not know what they are talking and they should not raise questions during the District Development Council’s meetings. Two of them have given notice of privilege. They have written to me.

She has not given a notice for privilege motion. It is a separate issue and it should be dealt with separately… (Interruptions). Shrimati Alva is trying to make an important point. You should allow her. She is not a party to the privilege motion. That is something totally separate. She is raising a point as Chairman of the Committee on Empowerment of Women.
