of the respondents.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned
Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents. By consent of both
the counsel, the writ petition itself is taken up for final hearing.
3. This writ petition has been filed for a direction against the
respondents to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 06.02.2004
to promote as Junior Engineer taking into his Seniority with effect from
1.11.1990.
4. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, this
Court is inclined to issue a direction, without going into the merits of the
case.
5. There will be a direction to the first respondent to consider the
representation of the petitioner dated 06.02.2004 and pass orders in accordance
with law after giving opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of eight
weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of.
Consequently, the connected W.P.M.P is closed. There is no order as to costs.
