Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent

states that the respondent has died on 05.03.2009. Learned counsel has

also placed on record the photostat copy of the Death Certificate of Balbir

Singh s/o Randhir Singh, issued by Sub-Registrar, Births & Deaths, Civil

Hospital, Mansa.

In view of the aforesaid fact, the present petition abates and

no further action is required to be taken. However, it will be open to the

petitioners to seek any other appropriate remedy available to them in

accordance with the law.
