Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the
respondents.

Initially the writ petition was filed for a writ of mandamus directing the
respondents to pay the salary of the petitioner. Petitioner was appointed on
23.8.1991 and the papers relating to the approval was sent to the respondent
No. 1, but no orders were passed. Hence, the present writ petition was filed
before this Court for the relief mentioned above. an interim mandamus was
issued and on that basis the salary was being paid to the petitioner and he was
directed to continue on the said post. Now, by virtue of Section 33-C of U.P.
Secondary Education Services Selection Board, the petitioner is entitled for
consideration for regularisation.

The supplementary affidavit has been filed impleading the Joint Director of
Education as party to the writ petition.

After hearing learned counsel for the parties and after perusing the record this
writ petition is disposed of finally directing the District Inspector of Schools
to sent all the relevant papers to the Regional Level Committee relating to the
appointment of the petitioner for the purposes of consideration of the claim of
the petitioner for regularisation wihtin a period of one month and the Regional
Level Committee is directed to pass the appropriate orders strictly in
accordance with law by recording reasons within a period of three months
thereafter.

The writ petitioin is disposed of accordingly.

No order as to costs.
