J U D G M E N T
The petitioners in this writ petition entered Government service after
putting in prior military service. For the purpose of granting higher grade,
they want the military service also to be taken into account. According to
them, they are so entitled to, in view of Ext.P2 judgment of this Court as
also Ext.P1 Government order. In the above circumstances, the petitioners
have filed Ext.P3 series of representations before the 2nd respondent. The
petitioners seek a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders
on Ext.P3 series of representations in the light of Ext.P1 Government order
and and Ext.P2 judgment of this Court, expeditiously.
2. I have heard the learned Government Pleader also.
3. In the facts and circumstances of the case, I dispose of this writ
petition with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on
Ext.P3 series of representations, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate
within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this
judgment. While passing orders, the 2nd respondent shall consider the
applicability of Exts.P1 and P2 to the facts of the petitioners’ case.
