ORDER
Background
1. The RTI Application dated 27.5.11was filed by the Applicant with the PIO, Lok Nayak hospital,
New Delhi. He sought information regarding the tender for Biometric system floated by the LN
Hospital opened in June 2010 against seven points including when the order was placed against the
tender, what was the delivery period given to vendor, what is the level of implementation as on
27.5.11 and what are the reasons for delay in implementation of project etc. The PIO replied on
24.6.11 providing point wise information. Not satisfied with the reply the Applicant filed his first
appeal on 11.7.11 commenting on the reply given against each point and seeking further
clarification against points 4 and 5. On not receiving any reply from the AA the Applicant filed his
second appeal before the Commission.
Decision.
2. During the hearing the Respondent stated that the Appellate Authority has received the appeal
seeking additional clarification against points 4 and 5, and that the Appellate Authority has already
provided the required clarification, in September. The Commission noted that no further
complaint/communication has been received from the Appellant after he received the clarifications
furnished by the Appellate Authority and therefore assumes that the Appellant is satisfied with the
information provided.
3. The appeal is accordingly disposed off and the case closed at the Commission’s end.
