श्री हेमलाल मुर्मू : अध्यक्ष महोदय, मैं कह रहा था कि झारखंड में गंगा नदी बह रही है और उसमें से फरक्का बांध बना है। …( व्यवधान) गंगा नदी में सिल्िंटग हो जाने से बाढ़ आ जाती है। गंगा का पानी फैल जाने से पूरे इलाके डूब जाते हैं जिससे हर वर्ष लाखों रुपए की क्षति होती है। इसकी वजह से गंगा में कटाव चालू है जिससे हर वर्ष सैंक़डों गांव बह जाते हैं। मैं सरकार का ध्यान इस ओर आकर्षित कर रहा हूं कि गंगा नदी के कटाव को कैसे रोका जाए। सरकार इस बात पर निश्चित रूप से चिन्ता करे। झारखंड प्रदेश के १२ से १३ जिलों में अभी सुखाड़ की स्थिति उत्पन्न हो गई है। वहां धान की फसल रोपी नहीं गई है। जो खेत रोपे गए हैं, वे सूख कर फट चुके हैं। वहां धान की उपज होने की कोई संभावना नहीं है। झारखंड प्रदेश में बाढ़ और सुखाड़ से निपटने के लिए केन्द्र सरकार उनकी मदद करें और पैकेज दे ताकि वहां के लोगों को अपनी फसल उगाने में मदद मिले, लोग रबी की फसल उगा सकें। मेरा यही आग्रह है।
