                                   J U D G M E N T

The petitioner is aggrieved of Ext. P6 notice issued by the

first respondent, whereby additional security has been

demanded to an extent of Rs. Twenty lakhs, which according to

the petitioner is contrary to the stipulation in the Circular

No.52/2007 and the terms of the statute.

2. The first respondent has filed a statement, wherein the

reason for issuing Ext. P6 has been sought to be sustained

referring to the magnitude of the transaction involved and the

chance for evasion of tax.

3. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the

petitioner will be satisfied if the first respondent is directed to

consider Ext. P7 representation preferred by the petitioner for

redressal of his grievances.

4. After considering the facts and circumstances, the first

respondent is directed to consider and pass appropriate orders on

Ext. P7, in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner as

expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within two months from

the date of receipt of a copy of the judgment.

The Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
