COMMON JUDGMENT
Petitioner in W.P.(C)No.20013/2009 is the
father of deceased Nini. Petitioner in W.P.(C)No.

dead on 11.3.2009 at about 6.30 p.m. in a canal.
Crime No.602/2009 of Kothamangalam Police Station
was registered under Section 174 of Code of
Criminal Procedure and is being investigated.
Dissatisfied with the investigation, the husband as
well as the father of the deceased have filed these
petitions to entrust the investigation to the
Central Bureau of Investigation or to some other
Agency.
2. Learned Government Pleader submitted that
investigation of Crime No.602/2009 of Kothamangalam
Police Station has already been entrusted with the
Crime Branch, as per order dated 7.10.2009 of the
Director General of Police.
WPC 20013&23961/09 2
3. As investigation has already been entrusted
with the Crime Branch, I find it not necessary to
give any other direction or necessity to entrust
the investigation to the Central Bureau of
Investigation.
Hoping that the Crime Branch will conduct a
thorough and expeditious investigation, petitions
are disposed with liberty to the petitioners to
approach the court and seek appropriate remedy at a
later stage, if warranted.
